Enjoy your holiday surrounded by sun, mountains, tradition and customs. Andriano/Andrian has 1,000 inhabitants and is the smallest village in South Tyrol. It is situated in the
valley basin between Bolzano/Bozen and Merano/Meran. Embedded in orchards and vineyards, you will enjoy a holiday of a life time.
In the
Spring, the entire valley turns into a sea of blossoms. From
May to October, you should not forget to pack two things into your case: swimming gear and
hiking boots. For cyclists, we recommend that you bring your cycling gear as well. In
autumn, the farmers work 24/7: picking apples… and harvesting the grapes. The wine cellars also work overtime to process the grapes for new wine. During the
winter, stillness returns. Just before Christmas, however, the Christmas markets in Merano/Meran and Bolzano/Bozen create a bit of noise… and after that, nature and people alike settle down for a calmer period.
It is particularly worth seeing the
Parish church and a little further on, the
Stern farmhouse, which has a beautiful vault cellar ceiling and an even more beautiful manor-like entrance? The southern façade features a fresco from 1519 and the northern facade depicts four scenes from the life of Christ.
