South Tyrolean holiday on a sports bike
Down in the valleys and up the mountain passes
Andriano/Andrian is situated on the Western side of the Adige/Etsch Valley, at an altitude of 284 metres above sea level. From here, you can cycle along the valley until you come to the Resia/Reschen Pass…or if you cycle south, you will come to Lake Garda. If you like high altitudes, you should cycle via the Ultimo/Ulten Valley and the Deutschnonsberg to the Mendola/Mendel Pass and make your return journey via Caldaro/Kaltern and Appiano/Eppan. Alternatively, cycle through the Passiria/Passeier Valley, across the Timmelsjoch Pass to the Ötz Valley or via the Jaufen Pass to Vipiteno/ Sterzing. From Bolzano/Bozen, there is a tour through the Eggen Valley to Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen and via Aldin/Aldein, Ora/Auer, Caldaro/Kaltern and Appiano/Eppan back to Andriano/Andrian.
